
Constance Marie Lopez (born September 9th, 1965)[1] is an American actor from America. She is most well-known for her roles in George Lopez (2002 - 2007) and Marcela Quitanilla (mother Selena) in Selena (1997). She was Regina Vasquez on the ABC Family/Freeform drama show Switched at Birth (2011-17). She currently plays Camila Diaz on the Amazon Prime Video drama series Undone (2019). Marie started her acting career in her teens. Salsa 1988, was her debut film. Other credits on film and television include Early Edition and Dirty Dancing, Selena and Spin City and Ally McBeal. Marie was chosen to play the role as Angie Lopez in ABC's comedy series George Lopez. In 2001, Marie starred in the comedy-drama film Tortilla Soup alongside Hector Elizondo, Jacqueline Obradors, and Elizabeth Pena. Marie also appeared on PBS drama American Family. In the month of October, 2007, she started her own line of clothing "The Constance Marie Collection". 2 In the same year, she appeared in an ad for PETA, encouraging people to spay and neuter their pets. 3 Marie was the main character in Switched at Birth on ABC Family/Freeform from 2011 to 2017. She was Regina Vasquez (the birth mother of one and the legal mother of the other).
