Her first year as an National Merit Scholar, and she attended the University of San Diego as an academic scholarship. In 2003, she graduated with high marks. 2. Watney has participated in the Miss California USA pageant, where she was the very first finalist in 2002. From September 2003 onwards, Watney worked for KMPH-TV (FOX 26) in Fresno. Watney began her career as the morning traffic reporter then she was promoted to a anchoring for the weekend in 2005 and becoming a reporter for the weekdays. 3]Watney relocated to Massachusetts in 2008 and began working at New England Sports Network (NESN). She was a Boston Red Sox gameday reporter. Watney also hosted the Ultimate Red Sox Show and the Red Sox Report.In January 2012, Watney began working for Time Warner Cable SportsNet as reporter for the LA Galaxy. However, she was hired by MLB Network in November 2012 which she stayed with for nine years. She was the host of Quick Pitch. She was a part of Apple TV+ 2022.
