sylvester stalloneSylvester Stallone was originally born on July 6, 1946, in Hell's Kitchen as Michael Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone. He's the oldest son of Francesco Stallone, Sr. (a hairdresser) and Jackie Stallone (astrologer, and dancer). Frank Stallone Sr, his younger brother, is an actor, musician and hairdresser. Because of complications during the birth of his daughter, Sylvester's lower left side was paralyzed. This resulted in the famed "snarling" and slurred speech and distinctive appearance. Due to the conflicting relationships between his parents, Stallone spent his first years in foster care. The couple later split up. Stallone was a drama student in Switzerland at the American College before moving on to Miami University. After completing his studies, he left school and moved to New York City in order to explore acting as a profession.
