Lis Wehl was born on August 19, 1961 in the United States She is a writer and former legal expert for Fox News.
Her previous position was as Assistant Professor of Law in The University of Washington Law School. She offered legal analysis on Bill O'Reilly's radio show and National Public Radio. She was a regular guest for The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly and Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl was raised in Yakima and attended West Valley High School. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in English from Barnard College, followed by a master's degree in literature from the University of Queensland, in 1985.
Wiehl served as the US attorney in the United States. She served as a legal correspondent for the NPR program All Things Considered. She was deputy chief investigating counsel for Democrats of the House Judiciary Committee, during Clinton's impeachment. Between 1995 and 2001, she was a tenured professor in the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle, where she ran the Trial Advocacy Program. She was an analyst at Fox News from 2001 until 2017.
