Ariel Winter

Ariel Winter, born Ariel Winter Workman (Janurary 28, 1998) in Los Angeles California is an American performer, singer and voice-actor. Ariel started her career in acting young, performing in the Cool Whip commercial at age six. In the age of seven she got her first television role on the sitcom CBS's Listen Up! After these roles her next role was to be a part of Monk Bones & ER. In 2007, she was offered the role of Gretchen on the Disney Original Channel animated series Phineas and Ferb. Her breakout performance was on the live-action television show Modern Family two years later. She along with others from Modern Family's Modern Family cast have won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding performance by a group in the field of Comedy Series four times. Ariel continues to voice characters in films such as ParaNorman Cloudy, With A Chance Of Meatballs & Scooby-Doo! Stage Fright. Ariel has a purple belt in Taekwondo. She is the younger sister of actors Shanelle Workman and Jimmy Workman. She's also a vocalist who has her own group WickedSweet. Also, she is involved in a variety of charities which promote sustainable living. In 2012, her sister applied to become her guardian alleging that she was subjected to emotional and physical abuse by her parents.
