Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe, a British-Nigerian mixed race child was born into a family in South London. She's English, and her father is Nigerian. She was a student at The Brit School when she was 14. She was a student of acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. At school, she was a part-time actor in a variety of stage productions like the King Henry V's Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe's acting career started with Storm Damage. Since then she's made appearances in guest roles in films like Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe made her US debut on The Beautiful Life in 2009. The show ran just two episodes at The CW, and was later cancelled.
