Moffat picked her to play the part because she was the most efficient in her interactions with Smith and could speak more rapidly than the actor. But she's been more well-known on television than in films. Eva is most well-known for her role in the role of Dr. Maria Santos on All My Children as well as detective Natalia Boa Vistas on CSI Miami. In fact, the character as Dr. Maria Santos in All My Children landed her 2 Daytime Emmy nominations. This provided her with the opportunity to show off her musical talent.
