Lindsey-Vonn
Born on the 18th of October 1984, American alpine skier Lindsey Vonn who is now retired, won the title of four World Cup competitions and the downhill gold medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics. She has the second highest super score among all skiers, female and male. She is the most famous as well as one of America's most loved skiers. Caroline Vonn who is also called Lindsey Vonn and competes as an Olympic skier with the US Ski Team. She has taken home in the total World Cup competition four times. She is an athlete who has earned a name for herself within American popular culture. She is one of six female athletes to win in each event on the World Cup circuit. All told, she has won an impressive 82 World Cup championships. The top skier on the planet, and most successful American racer in the sport of skiing have announced their retirements following this year's World Championship in Sweden. After suffering from a series of illness, the three-time World Cup champion has decided to step down. Social media was used to make her announcement of retirement. The World Championships of Downhill and SG Re Sweden will mark my last races at Re Sweden.
